Life at the farm:
Bees love the chemical- and pesticide-free flowers grown at Blue Skys Farm!
Project: Save the Echinacea (aka Coneflower)
<---Before photo.
It is not easy being a perennial flower at the farm. All the weeds, especially Stinging Nettle (ouch!), Mugwart and grasses, love to invade on your territory.
<--- After photo.
A happy Echinacea plant! If you look closely, you can see a flower starting to appear.
Success!
A beautiful Dwarf Zenia bloom. We will have these plants for sale on Saturday.
Hope to see you at the market!
Farmer Kim
