Farmer's Market - June 28th

Seventy five degrees and sunny.  Can't get much better than that!  It was a great day on the farm and we have some new items to bring to market tomorrow.  Beautiful weather and new items for market makes Farmer Christina a happy woman.

We had the assistance today from Blue Skys Farm volunteer, Terry.  She packaged all of the salad mix and all of the sugar snap peas (and there were a lot).  Thanks Terry!

First harvest of fresh lavender!  Don't miss out.  Fresh lavender is hard to come by!

This week we are bring the following items to market:

Golden Beets!!!  Look at how beautiful they are...and delicious as well.

Cucumbers!!!  Pickling and Suyo varieties.

Christina's Custom Salad Mix
Purple Scallions
Bright Lights Swiss Chard
Tuscano,  White Russian & Rainbow Lacinato Kale
Sugar Snap Peas (on sale!)
Fresh-Cut Basil
Beautiful Flowers!!!

Hope to see you at the market.

Farmer Kim

P.S.  Thank you to Noako for your recommendation to grow Suyo long cucumbers.  I had one at lunch today and it was delicious!  Very crisp and flavorful.
